Well once again, Anita had to build a prop. This time for Mr. Skyline. The Cheerleaders put on Mr Skyline to jump start their fund raising for the next cheer season. Since Alana is a cheerleader, her mom and dad get to help with the decorations for the Mr Skyline show. Anita always has great ideas so this came naturally. She chose the Fantastic 4 for her super hero dude. She made her board 8'X7' and covered with her tried and test method of paper rocks. I helped her on the second day of paper coverage. Brent helped her build the frame. WHAT??? Yep, you heard me, Brent got into one of the projects! Here are some pictures.
Sections of brown paper were wadded and wrinkled and then glued on the card board base forming "rock".Then the fun begins with the spray painting.

we begin by spraying the deep crevices with dark brown.
The high lights are put on with Orange and Yellow and a warm brown. The whole painting process only takes a few minutes and we just spray over the top of each other. You'll note Anita's fashionable paint smock (plastic garbage bag). I'm never so careful with my clothes.

This is Brent of course, putting on the legs. He did a great job for Anita and his daughter. They really support their kids well in everything they do.
Here is how it all turned out!

The back drop and the logo for "Flash"

The "Hulk" and "Batman"

"Robin" and "Ironman"

"Superman" & "Spiderman"
